Sandy Beach Surfing Surf Lessons and Surf Experiences in Cocoa Beach

Calling parents and kids interested in being a part of Team SBS!  New comers are always welcome, no age limit, and you don't need prior surf experience to be included. (You just need to know how to swim!)

This is NOT a hyper competitive environment.  We want everyone to do their best, but are more geared toward having a GREAT time and making lifelong friends along the way.  Truly, "For the stoke of a lifetime!"

Serving our community and bringing children together with the love of surfing is what we are all about.  Every year we are excited to participate in a local tradition- The NKF Rich Salick Pro/Am Surf Festival, and NKF Team Event (at the end of the summer season).  

This event is more to us than a contest-  It's a way to close a spring/summer of surfing and beach days, and meet up with all of our friends, family, and members of our local network to eat, smile, and SURF! 

It also provides a wonderful and friendly opportunity to get kids involved in not only a surf contest, but in community networking, community service, and to be involved in raising awareness for an amazing cause, (The National Kidney Foundation).

What do we do?

Here's the low down on the team-

• Two, 2 hour team practices per month,  scheduled in advance on a Saturday or Sunday.  (We know how tough it is to juggle all the activities/homework/social obligations during the weekdays!)

                 Private individual surf lessons can be arranged at parents' request, after school. 

• Lesson boards, rash guards, and other gear will be provided by the surf school if you don't own your own yet.
• Team shirt, filled with local businesses and supporters... Sponsoring YOU, and other SBS swag as it becomes available!
• Paid contest entry for the NKF Rich Salick 2024 Team Event (October 12-14, Columbus Day Weekend)
• Coaching, mentoring, and team building during the year- Become a part of our Surf Family. 
• At the contest-- Coaching, mentoring, and coordinating provided by us at the contest, (Meaning you parents don't have to stress about knowing when or where your child surfs- Show up, and we will take care of the rest!)
